Edit Your Email
Whether there's an email that you've already send out that you need to correct, or if there's an email that you've saved that you haven't sent yet, you can edit the contents of the email to (re)send to your recipients. (NOTE: This will NOT unsend your email.) To edit the text in an existing email, you can do so by following these steps:
- Hover over
in the top left corner, beneath the CQ Knowlegis banner
- Click on My Email
- Locate the email that needs to be edited from the list
- At the end of the email's row, click on the Edit button
- The email screen will open, allowing you to make any necessary edits
- Once all of your edits are made, you will have your normal options to save as a draft, send the message as soon as possible, or send the message at a specific date and time
- Click the confirm button
to save your changes
- The email message will be saved to the existing email
Replicate Your Email
In the same vein of editing your email, you will be able to replicate, or duplicate, an existing email without recreating it from the beginning. This is important for those emails that are to be sent out that may need to be changed slightly between groups and individuals.
- Hover over
in the top left corner, beneath the CQ Knowlegis banner
- Click on My Email
- Locate the email that you would like to replicate
- At the end of the email's row, click the down arrow that is next to the Edit button
- Select the Replicate Message option from the drop-down options
- The email screen will open, allowing you to make any changes from the existing information
- Once all of your edits are made, you will have your normal options to save as a draft, send the message as soon as possible, or send the message at a specific date and time
- Click the confirm button
to save your changes
- The email message will be saved as a new, separate email in the list that is to be sent out to your selected recipients
