How To Request Analysis on a Bill?

Understanding the complexities of legislation is crucial for effective advocacy and decision-making. CQ Federal offers a streamlined process to request expert analysis on specific bills. This guide outlines how to access existing bill analyses and how to request a new one when needed.

1. Go to the 'Research' tab, then 'Bills.'

2. On the left pane, click 'Bill Analysis.'

3. On the Bill Analysis Page, you will see some recent Bill Analysis on the right pane.

4. To search, you can narrow down your searches by filtering, adding keywords, dates, etc.

If you can't find a particular CQ Bill Analysis on a bill:

Email [e-mail], and CQ will research and write a report on your bill in 2-3 business days (limit of one bill per month, up to six per year).
