What are Hot Docs?

mceclip0.png

A unique trove of policy-related, hard-to-find government source documents, including Draft Bill Text, Dear Colleague Letters, Congressional Press Releases and more. In conjunction with legislative tracking information and CQ news, Hot Docs provide additional context to help you get the full story on what’s happening on Capitol Hill.

Where can I find them?

Simply navigate to ResearchBillsHot Docs. Here, you’ll find a search engine specifically for locating Hot Docs.

Browsing document types

Once on the page, you'll notice that there's a search engine dedicated solely to searching through Hot Docs. This is also the best way to understand what's included in CQ's Hot Docs database.

If you click the dropdown arrow under 'Document Type,' you'll see a list of all document types available.
